Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. Born in Stavanger on June 15th, 1996 and professionally known as Aurora. Her name can also be stylized by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well reviewed by various music websites. Half the World Away from the band Oasis was made for an advertisement for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is a Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry shared a tweet that Perry made a splash with her track Runaway. Celebrate her special birthday. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memories involve finding a tiny piano that was in her basement and bewildered by the sound it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents May Britt Aksnes and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to learn music more as a hobby as a career. The Aksnes family encouraged her to compose. Bjork as well as Leonard Cohen are among her most favored songwriters. After her mom said that her songs would not just help her gain fame, but also make others see their value in the world and realize how they can benefit from the songs and her music, she was inspired to start playing in front of the public. The piano was first played by her when she was six years old and started writing songs at the age of nine. It was not until she turned 14 that she revealed her plans to her parents. It was never a dream to be Aurora. She just loves to write songs. The songs she creates are the way that she feels everything.
