She worked for an agency called the United States Court of Appeals in Kansas as a clerk following she completed law school. She quit after a few years of working to start a new profession as a lawyer New York City. In her new job she was a specialist in corporate law. She appeared on T.V. several times in order to talk about her thoughts on the Bill Clinton scandal and impeachment and was a household name. Following the scandal, the year 1998 saw her release her debut book, The High Crimes of Misdemeanors The Case for Bill Clinton for which she was also charged with plagiarism.
