Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actor from the United States. She is known for her roles in TV and film since the late 1980s she's won numerous awards including two Golden Globe Awards and sixteen NAACP Image Awards in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett, who was raised in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt after being born at New York New York, is an acclaimed actress. Bassett, her sister and their mother were moved to St. Petersburg Florida when Bassett was 5 years old. The father of the family had separated from their mom. Bassett watched the James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play when she was in high school, and realised that she was an actor and would like to be doing. Yale University New Haven Connecticut in which she graduated with her bachelor's in African American and master's degrees (1983). At Yale she met Courtney B. Vance a fellow actor and the two got married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Degree in African-American Studies in 1980, Master in Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grades) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett is currently working on one of the leading roles in the film Ramonda in the action movie i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
